The Bible contains hundreds of stories, many of these stories are told across all different types of media. The most popular media choice of these stories has been the production of movies. Movies that have been created from the Bible have often had great success and support from its audience and fans. How transmedia's differ from each other.
As mentioned perviously transmedia's are traced across multiple systems. Many difference can happen during the process of marketing a transmedia over different systems. These differences often differ from system to system. One example of these differences is between film on the big screen and animation. In the movie "The Ten Commandments" the story was told authentically to the story told in the Bible. While the computer animated film differed from the story told in the Bible. This caused major controversy for the film and the revenue it brought in. The computer animated film differed because the audience was focused towards children. This was a huge mistake because the parents of this audience had strong opinions and beliefs towards the Bible. Since this incident with the computer animated film the industry on the transmedia's of the Bible stays authentic across different systems and medias. "Veggie Tales" shows us the success of sticking to the script of the Bible and speaking to a younger audience.
