Introduction to the Bible.
The Bible is made up two books, the Old Testament and the New Testament. These two books are made up of other books during their time period. The Old Testament consist of books that tell the story of God from the beginning of time to a few hundred years before the birth of Jesus Christ. The New Testament consist of books (the Gospel) that start with telling the the birth story of Jesus Christ. The New Testament ends in the book of Revelation, which describes how the world will end and God will come back and take his people to Heaven.
What instruction does the Bible Give?
In the Old Testament of the Bible, God speaks to man many times. God often speaks through man many times. The men God spoke to are often called prophets, some include Moses, Elijah, and Isaiah. "The Law of God", is the main message the Old Testament teaches. God made this Law for his people and intended it to be good. When Gods people followed His law they often benefited from doing so. Gods law was perfect, and set an example of how man should live his life. Following the Law of God seemed to be almost impossible for man to do. Being perfect was impossible to achieve until Jesus Christ came and lived a perfect life. Christ's life gave man an example of how we should live our life for God. We should live our life with Love, and not judging our fellow brothers and sisters. Many religious leaders of the time used the law as a sense of slavery to the people. When Christ came he completely changed every thing. He taught how the religious leaders had corrupted the "Law of God". Christ had also taught how the law was not intended to be a law of slavery to God. Jesus Christ went on to be a sacrifice for our sins on the cross. On the cross is where Jesus Christ defeated satan and took the keys of authority from satan. Christ then, conquered death and rose three days after he had died on the cross . Christ then, gave the keys of authority to man, now we once again poses authority and dominion over Earth through Jesus Christ. Knowing that all of us are sinners, God has said that if we ask with an honest heart to be forgiven for our sins, of any and every sin, then we will be forgiven. God also says that if we ask for forgiveness and believe that Jesus Christ is his son, and that God raised Jesus Christ from the grave, then we will spend entirety in heaven.
How people teach the Bible.
The word of God, what we call the Bible was once preached and taught a very different way. Men taught the Bible and God to be this force of power that should rule our life. To explain this very clearly, an example would be thinking of God as pointing his finger at us. A real life example is someone who stands on corners with a Bible telling people that pass by their going to hell for whatever reason. Messages like that our not being preached with Father Gods Love.
The word of God today seems to have shifted in the way it being taught. It seems that the love of God is being much more emphasized. Where as it use to be the "sinners going to hell" message. God's love needs to be emphasized more, because it is this love that breaks the chains of sin on us. After we see and experience the love of God, we than will except Him and His son Jesus into our hearts. We will not do this if we are being guilted into doing it.

What does the Bible say we should do here on earth?
The Lord said "let there be light, and there was light". When God created the universe it seems that there probably was a "big bang" that occurred. The reality of is that God is so big and so vast, its hard for humans to comprehend Him and His glory. The Lords first command was to have authority and dominion over the Earth. God has created all of us to be great, to be Kings and Queens, to be more than conquers. He has more planned for us then we can imagine or comprehend. He wants more good for us than we want for our self. We are all here on Earth for just a short while. While here its our job to glorify the name of the Lord his son Jesus Christ, bring glory to his Kingdom in Heaven, and His children here on Earth.
